Rice Construction Company's Minority and Women-owned and Small Business (M/W/SBE) Procurement Program demonstrates the Company's commitment to the success of minority and women-owned businesses and to small business entities.  By promoting contracting opportunities to M/W/SBEs, the Company's growth and economic stability is enhanced.  This program plays a key role in increasing the business opportunities for minorities and women in Texas. 

The Program

The Company's President certifies vendors as minority and women business enterprises and carries out the mandates of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements. 

The M/W/SBE program goal is the awarding of twenty-five percent of the dollar value of all contracts to M/W/SBEs. 

Minority and women-owned businesses wanting to take advantage of the opportunities afforded them under the M/W/SBE program must first be at least 51 percent owned and controlled by a minority or woman or a small business as certified by any government agency, and be Company certified.
